Information in English for the Bigastro 2026

* The use of magnesium is not permitted, and a 3-wristband system will be used.

Disrespect towards a volunteer or judge, hitting, or throwing anything in anger will result in immediate disqualification.

The use of climbing techniques or any technique to overcome an obstacle that puts the participant’s health at risk is PROHIBITED.

The weights are for carrying, not dragging, and must be placed on the ground, not thrown. If a weight breaks when thrown or placed too roughly, the course must be repeated with another weight.

All suspension obstacles (combos, pegboard, etc.) are limited to one attempt. This means that if you do not complete an obstacle in a competitive heat, one wristband will be cut, and you will continue advancing.

On the pegboard, you will start with the peg in the first hole and finish in the last hole.

All equipment must be returned to where you found it at the beginning.

In the pendulum event, you will start seated on the ground and finish by placing one of the sticks in the last hole.

In the Medieval Tornado, you will do it like a twister, meaning without sticks. You can start from anywhere and finish when you reach the end and place your feet on the final bar.

You cannot touch or graze the ground.

For non-competitive participants (Popular, Pairs, Teams), the penalty for each obstacle not completed will be 10 burpees.

Upon reaching the slide, you will show your three wristbands to the Master Judge to slide down to the finish line. If you are missing any wristbands, you must complete a penalty run to recover them, doing one lap for each lost wristband.
